Small Space Parisian Apartment Renovation By Interior Designer Adrien Pillay
Small space doesn’t necessarily mean uniformity and white walls. This project is a demonstration of how to make an area bigger without make it boring. This apartment breaks the code of uniformity. Each room has a completely different style. Mixed colors and inspirations from one room to another helps to visualize each space separately and allows the eye to travel. However, it’s important to create a connection between spaces when working with a small apartment. This is why the styles and colors are simultaneously different and harmonious.
Living Room Before and After
In the living room, the library made to measure with the original fireplaces between, combines both classic and modern styles, thanks to very soft wall colors, from Farrow and Balls. Further, antique furniture customized with modern fabrics plays with this mix between old and new.
Kitchen Before and After
With a shape of an “L”, the minimal kitchen integrates the outlets behind a white glass frontage. Also, the XVIIIth century inspired floor creates more pattern and perspective in the hallway.

Bathroom Before and After
The bathroom, directly off the bedroom, is another ingredient to the search of space. With an Art Deco inspiration, the black glass mosaic hanging from the wall and marble on the floor add more lines and perspective with graphic forms. When you deal with your bathroom renovation, you must do something new. Tile installation, shower, taps and cabinets are the oldest ideas. Here you can find something different and creative for your bathroom renovation that will look amazing.
Small Space Bedroom
The bedroom, while limited in space, has a beautiful bed surrounded by two wall lamps. The bedside table is hidden with a sliding table, sitting on top of an alcove with an old violin inside, creating an end of perspective from the hallway. The white wooden floor and graphic wallpaper also add more feeling of space.
