Ed and Mandy have lived with their two daughters in this former barber shop in the historical village house in Vught, Netherlands, since the 1890s. Two years of work were necessary to restore the building of 300 m2 with the garden.
It was a house that I immediately caught sight of because the owners knew how to preserve the house’s historic character while incorporating very current decoration elements.
I particularly liked the recovery of antique furniture arranged in wall blocks and painted in bright yellow to standardize everything. Original and practical arrangements. This grey-green yellow appeases in different parts of the house, followed by all these vintage findings.
A beautiful source of inspiration!
